Life Twister

Brought by the season of thirst and rising temperature, I came to contemplate on the things that had been happening to life around town and mine at the center of it. My life is but an animation of events that is a premonition in life - intertwined cause and effects; Stories of decaying facts and sometimes threatening because of distortions.

I overheard one Filipina lady again was found dumped in a trash bin somewhere in Al Baraha. She was raped allegedly. And, found decaying. I was depressed wanting to know who the person was.

My daily routine has been the product of challenges that were either caused by my obligations to provide a better life or because of personal vanity. Now there's a real blessing in it for me because it feeds my fat ego - fear facing a definite desolation of uselessness in life. All my years I've been self-thought the value of work and how to keep it that level at least believing now that it's going to be my legacy ever.

My struggle is, I believe had not surpassed half that of my father who until now is like a member of the gearbox that has to revolve round the system of self-worth. He had spent nearly nineteen years swinging life between winters and hot summers of this Dubai. And most of the time swinging bliss and setbacks of an expatriate. Glad my father is learning to use the mouse or the keyboard - evident to his belief that life seizes at points where the desire to learn stops. He'd been playing the Yahoo.com's old word text twister game. So that, if ever Dubai's going to hold a this computer game contest, he would definitely won the game. Hehehe!

Our life is that kind of simple. A shopping mall brochure left around the office hallways brought home can be an entertainment enough when I got home. It'd become a thirty minute window to what's buying or what's not round Dubai. So from reading it, it'd either become a paper plane or a pat holder.
